We decided to move out of the City, Brooklyn that is, because we were ready for a change of pace and I was pregnant. I like the feel of Tarrytown because it feels like a community, like somewhere you can get to know your neighbors, unlike the City. Also, it's near the Hudson, which along with the history makes the town feel established. We looked at a lot of houses, but this one especially felt like home as soon as we walked in (and it had nothing behind it but trees!). |
